What is Scrum

Scrum is a modern Agile framework to solve complex problems in a fast changing world. Scrum thus figures prominently under Agile way of implementing modern Projects; and forms the largest known and practiced agile framework worldwide.

Since nearly every business and organisation today is driven or enabled through IT; Most organisations use Scrum to implement projects today. A very large number of industry professionals , as well as faujis Certify themselves in Scrum Master[ Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from Scrum Alliance]. It also becomes very useful to showcase this in the CV, and seeek roles in industry as Scrum Master. The knowledge of Scrum also enhances overall understanding of moden way of resolving complex problems, worling in self-organised teams; and provides awareness driven confidence to sound knowledgeable and fitting to Corporate Domain in general

Participants Experience

Participants find this an enabling, enjoying and great learning experience, alongside it being a very interactive and role play training. About the Course

It is one of the most popular and useful Certification Globally. It is approximately a 15 Hr course done in mutiple formats of 2 full days, 4 half days etc. At MILVEST we do it in 4 successive evenings between 6:45 pm and 10:30 pm. For this course the dates are 14 Oct to 17 Oct 2024

Scrum Alliance will be the certifying agency. It is globally the largest and most well accepted and recognised organisation on Scrum

Trainer for the Course

Mr Sekhar Burra (CST) will be your Trainer. He is the senior most and one of the most competent Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) in the whole country. He has been conducting Scrum Training at MILVEST for past 1+ year at MILVEST in military exclusive batches and has trained 100s of fauji community members at MILVEST itself. His delivery and competence is very well appreciated by all our participants.

Exam

- Scrum Mater Exam is easy and simple

- MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) based,

- taken Online, in your own time

- Most people around the world (80%) complete assessment within 1-2 days of finishing training. The success rate globally is 94% or above.

The maximum learning value of Scrum is in the Training part, of the 15 Hr live intercative training , not in exam.

- You will be surprised to know that there are only about 14-15 Certified Scrum Trainers (CSTs) in the country. a CST is a highly exceptional person qualified directly by the Scrum Alliance to conduct this training.

- There again, the real learning in the Certification is in the Training part with the Trainer and your team (batch) , not in the Exam. Exam is simple.

- Technically Otherwise, One needs take the first attempt within 1st 14 days of finishing Training. - if for a rare unfortunate occurence, someone does Not pass, he/she gets another attempt to clear withing 90 days from training completion. Fee of both assessments is included in the Enrolment Fee

At MILVEST, we advise all our participants to finish it on last night of training itself, or the next day, or else within 48 hrs. Sooner the Better, and there is no fun or sense in dalaying it. The exam is directly on what is discussed in the training , and learnt through activites. The sooner one appears in Training, the fresher you are with all the learnings. At the maximum, one needs 1-2 Hrs of revision, if taking exam within 24-28 hrs of training completion.

Reading Material

Extensive Reading material is provided by the Trainer himself, in form of Scrum Work Book of 100+ pages. The book is also frequently Referred to during the Training itself. The Training material will be sent on email within 24-48 hrs after enrolment
